The deposit amount you paid to us

Your deposit information including your credit card or bank number, expiry date, billing address and transaction amount is collected on our payment page by a third-party payment processor and will be subject to the third party’s privacy policy. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the third party’s collection.

All of the above information will be regarded by us as personally identifying information and treated accordingly.

Our services are not directed to people under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We will never use your personal data for marketing purposes and we will never pass your information to any third party for marketing purposes

The legal basis under which we hold your data is necessity.

We only ask you for details which are necessary for  us to complete our contract with you (Provide accommodation, meals and sundries and to receive payment) and to make our legal and financial reports.

5. Data retention & security

We take a lot of measures to protect your personal information. 

We seek to use reasonable organisational, technical, and administrative measures to protect your personal information within our organization from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration and/or destruction. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify our Data Protection Officer using the contact details listed at the end of this Privacy policy. 

Churchtown House is PCI DSS Compliant. We never store or supply Credit Card CVVs as this is in breach of our Credit Card Merchant agreement. The moment a transaction is complete we delete all Credit Card information.

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purposes for which it was obtained. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide our services to you, our legal obligations or whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position.

6. Cross-border transfers

Churchtown House only operates in the Republic of Ireland. Any data which we hold on you is only stored in Ireland and the data we hold on you will never be subject to cross border transfers.

7. Third-Party Services

We’re not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties linked to from our Platform.

This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information, or other practices of any third parties, including any third party operating any site or service to which our services link.  Our inclusion of a link on our services does not imply our endorsement of the linked site or service.
 Churchtown House may also use social media accounts for communication. You are advised to take care when submitting any personal data via these channels and you should refer to their privacy policies for information about how your data is collected, stored and used by these companies

8. Policy updates & contacting us

We may change this Privacy Policy. The “Effective Date” legend at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when it was last revised.  Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on our platform.
